Despite the pleasure a woman has when she gives birth, it is not long before she starts thinking about losing weight after the pregnancy and getting back in shape. The pressure is always on as every day there are pictures of some famous mother who has regained her figure within a few short months of giving birth, something that will probably take the average mother up to a year to achieve.

Regular people do not have access to all the facilities these celebrity mothers have so their weight loss after pregnancy will just take longer. More importantly the new mother should focus on the general recovery from giving birth by eating healthily and looking after her child.

Her daily diet should enable her to regain her strength and also improve her energy levels so it should not exceed 2,000 calories per day,but it also requires regular amounts of the following:

Remember that your body gained fat slowly so you need to lose it the same way and any muscle tone that was lost will come back the same way through exercise. If this routine is maintained then there is no reason why the excess and unwanted weight you gained during the pregnancy should not be lost within a relatively short period of time.

Losing unwanted pounds after pregnancy is far from impossible and is within reach of all new moms although some women will hang on to the last few pounds they have to lose until they stop breastfeeding.

Is it Possible to Lose Weight Effortlessly with Wu Yi Tea?

Seems too easy, right? Drink a few mugs of wu yi tea and lose weight without effort? I did not believe it either and then something peculiar happened over the holiday season.

You should understand that I am in fairly decent shape and if I gain a little weight, it hits my stomach first. Nobody likes the extra roll(s) of fat on their abs, but it happens. I try to watch what I eat, though I am quite fond of an occasional cheeseburger (okay, and wine, chocolate etc.). I enjoy working out, but I do lapse out of my routine when things get hectic like say, Christmas?

Two weeks into January and I am no longer wearing my skinny jeans. I am in my “fat clothes” so I feel comfortable. Not this season, though. Keep reading to find out why.

My husband was given a box of wu yi tea at work. He is not a big tea drinker, so I replaced my couple of mugs of black tea with the wu yi tea. I really enjoyed the flavor, but I was not really drinking it for weight loss. After all, I already knew I was going to gain my holiday five and I would worry about that later.

For now, I had shopping to tend to and gifts to wrap. And of course, all the holiday parties with eggnog martinis, canopies, lobster tails dripping with butter, prime rib and all the yummy holiday desserts. I had no time to workout with such a crazy schedule.

About mid January, I braved the scale. The odd thing was I had not really noticed my jeans getting any tighter, but I was sure I had to have gained some weight pigging out on all that food and not working out.

Wrong! I lost weight three pounds! I still did not believe it could be the wu yi tea. I knew it was loaded with anti-oxidants and when I reread the label, I figured out it also had wu yi tea extract. This sort of boosted its abilities to increase fat-burning.

However, I decided to test the theory further. I quit drinking the wu yi tea (though I missed its lovely flavor) and went about eating and not working out. I did not pig out, per say, but I ate enough to just maintain my current weight (I had just lost three pound, you know).

A month later, the 3 pounds were back. Well, I am back to drinking wu yi tea and I even blew the dust off the treadmill. I like the way I feel when I work out (more energy). I am back to eating a normal, healthy diet. However, I do not really mind the fact that if I do happen to slip in a cheeseburger here or a martini there, my wu yi tea has my back!
